About

Vellumoa is a small outerwear shop. One person runs it: me, Oskari, from Kuopio in eastern Finland, where winter starts in November and does not let go until April.

What we sell

Coats, puffer jackets, puffer vests, sherpa and faux fur, between $79 and $229. Sizes S to 5XL, with plus sizes running through every category rather than shoved into a separate corner of the site.

We are not a technical outerwear brand. Nothing here is rated for a mountain. These are coats for walking to work in February, for the school run, for standing outside a restaurant waiting for a table. They are chosen to look like something rather than to perform like equipment.

What we are honest about

We are new. Vellumoa opened in 2026 and has no customer reviews yet, which is a fair reason to be careful with a shop you have not heard of. So here is what we can offer instead.

Every product page lists the fabric, the care instructions, and full measurements in inches for every size we stock. Where a measurement is missing, we say so rather than guessing. Where a coat is dry clean only, that sits in the details where you will read it, not in the small print.

Our stock ships from an overseas warehouse, which is why delivery takes 7 to 14 business days rather than two. We would rather tell you that before you order than surprise you afterwards.

Founded in Finland

The business is Finnish. The coats are not. They are imported, and every product page states the fibre content exactly as our supplier provides it.

That last part matters more than it sounds. A good deal of outerwear is sold as wool when it contains no wool at all. If something here is polyester, the page says polyester.
